Blackberries

The weather is beautiful in Vancouver, Washington and we've been enjoying the time with TL's dog nephew, Guthrie, and his people Dave and Verlee (my brother and sister-in-law.)  The Diva and Guthrie are making friends and learning to share the space.

While hiking in a park near their house yesterday I noticed the wild blackberries were perfectly ripe and no one was picking them.  I ate as many as I could pick then but look what I did this morning bright and early!

    Used to pick blackberries with Dad, whenever and wherever. He'd freeze them and we'd have them all year 'round.
